Small Business Saturday, November 30th

At First Community Bank, we have always rooted for the home team, and supported local businesses. It's what makes us who we are!

In 2016 we partnered with American Express and became a Neighborhood Champion to rally our community to shop local on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. First there is Black Friday, then there is Small Business Saturday. We have seen the number of participating shops grow from 30 in our first year, to over 100 last year including shops in Bell Buckle and Wartrace. We are excited to announce we have added Lynchburg this year, too! We like to believe we are making a small difference for our local businesses!

What exactly do we do on Small Business Saturday?

If you have participated as a shop or as a shopper, you know that this is a fun day to spend with your friends and family and shop 'till you drop! Every shopper on Saturday, November 30th, receives a "punch card" from either the FCB tent (located on the courthouse lawn) or from one of the participating businesses listed below. For each shop that you make a purchase at, you get your "punch card" marked, and for each mark, you get an entry into our drawing for two $200 gift certificates that can be used at any of the participating shops.

In addition to the changes from the previous years, we are renting out the Shelbyville Capri Theater for a Hawaiian Small Business Saturday Movie Night! Each person will receive a free coke and popcorn on us, as well as free entry to the movie.* We hope to see you all there!
